Volunteer Opportunities
Our crew program wouldn't run without the dedication of many volunteers. Please consider volunteering. To learn more, contact the person listed under the opportunity.
Food Committee
This amazing group of volunteers is responsible for purchase, preparation and presentation of food to team members, their families and guests at all regattas – home and away, as well as other crew related events. Set up, take down and clean up of the food tent and its tables and grills. Organization and stocking of the food trailer and transportation of it to each regatta. MANY volunteers needed EACH week as the work is the same whether we are home or away. Sign-ups will be posted for each race- PLEASE sign up at least twice per season!

Safety
Our team is unique among high school sports in that we require parent involvement on a DAILY basis. Each water practice, both novice and varsity, involves 5 safety boat drivers and 2 dockmasters: 62 people per week! Coordinator is Julie Thompson (jmt06073@gmail.com). Schedule sign-ups

****We are in desperate need of a volunteer to keep the safety boat gas cans filled on a weekly basis. Reimbursement provided, of course.
Please contact Leah Post (ctposts@gmail.com) for information or to volunteer.
Regatta Organization
Home race coordination involves planning both the race course and facilities (parking, etc). Prepare race programs. Order medals. Set-up and removal of race course markers upon completion of the regattas. Boatdrivers and dockmasters to maintain our usual safety standards.
***Our greatest need is a parking coordinator who will work with the town to identify parking options and direct spectators to those areas, before and during the regatta.
Please contact Leah Post (ctposts@gmail.com) to volunteer.
Media Coverage
Work with coaches, athletes and other volunteers to write articles and gather photos for submission to the Glastonbury Citizen and other media outlets for coverage of all races and crew related events.

We are in need of a coordinator for Media Coverage. If you are interested, please contact Leah Post (ctposts@gmail.com)
